Daytona 500 Start Time: Coverage Begins At Noon
What time does the Daytona 500 start? The Daytona 500 start time is set for noon tomorrow, February 20th on FOX. Coverage of the Daytona 500 2011 will start promptly at 12:00pm, though the actual race will not commence until 1:00pm.
The Daytona 500 2011 lineup was announced yesterday, and even though Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is technically listed in the first slot, he will drop to the back of the pack and start from the rear when the race begins because he wrecked his car during practice.
The Daytona 500 will be bittersweet for Earnhardt, considering that the race is happening on the 10th anniversary of his father, Dale Earnhardt Sr’s death.
Will you be watching the Daytona 500 tomorrow?
