‘I Am Number Four’ The New ‘Twilight’?
Is new movie I Am Number Four going to be the new Twilight? Let’s just say that this flick has all the right stuff to be a blockbuster!
I Am Number Four is a Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks movie, and the teen sci-fi adventure stars Alex Pettyfer, Dianna Agron and Teresa Palmer.
The film is based on the young adult book by Pittacus Lore and additional novels are planned in the series, so this could be a franchise (like Twilight) for Dreamworks.
I Am Number Four is produced by Michael Bay who is the king of making big money from young movie goers.
Finally, word is that I Am Number Four star Alex Pettyfer will become the next Robert Pattinson. According to MTV Crush,
“If there’s one comparison critics keep making, it’s to that other YA adaptation “Twilight.” It’s an easy association, to be sure, as both films feature a comely supernatural hero besotted by a pretty, young earthling.”
