Victoria Beckham is spending over $150,000 on a nursery for her baby? Celebrity fashionista designer and wife of David Beckham is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child and the celebrity mama-to-be is going all out to prepare for baby Beckham’s arrival.
David and Victoria Beckham have three sons already: Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David. Elton John and David Furnish are reportedly the godparents of Brooklyn and Romeo, and their godmother is Elizabeth Hurley.
The 36-year-old celebrity mom-to-be is hoping for a girl, according to reports in the British press. The UK media have also reported that Victoria has been told by doctors that she is expecting a girl at a 16-week scan at the private Rivers Hospital in Hertfordshire, East England. Papa and Mama Beckham have not confirmed the news of a baby girl addition to the Beckham brood but if the baby nursery is any indication, it sounds like Victoria is planning for a girl!
According to a report in UK’s Star Magazine: “The decorator was pushing colors other than traditional girlie pink but she wouldn’t hear of it. Victoria gave strict instructions that she wants the room to ‘look like a little girl lives there’.”
Victoria is overseeing the styling of the nursery, which is to have an “old-fashioned theme with a shabby-chic feel”.
A friend of the couple told Britain’s Star magazine: “She hasn’t looked at a price tag for a single thing she’s bought. If she wants it she gets it, no questions asked!”
