What Happened to Julio Garcia on NCIS set?
Julio Garcia, a security guard on the set of NCIS, was tragically killed today in a freak accident. A TV set seems like a safe enough place for workers to be, so what exactly happened to Julio Garcia?
Julio Garcia was struck by a van whose driver lost control of the vehicle. It is being reported that the driver suffered from some sort of medical condition that caused him to have the accident.
Until further notice, production on NCIS has been stopped. CBS released a statement about Julio Garcia’s accident saying, “Everyone at the network, the studio and NCIS is devastated by the news. Our hearts grieve for his family and friends for this tragic loss. We are, of course, cooperating with the local authorities in Santa Clarita to help determine what caused this terrible accident.”
Producers of NCIS say that the members of the show are like a family, and everyone is shocked and saddened by what happened to Julio Garcia.
