Baby Alert! Cynthia Nixon & Christine Marinoni Have a Son – Who is Christine Marinoni?
Sex in the City star Cynthia Nixon aka Miranda and her partner Christine Marinoni welcomed a son on Monday February 7th. Not many knew that the couple were expecting a baby. Their son joins the family that includes Cynthia Nixon’s daughter Samantha, age 14, and son Charles, age 8, who are from her past relationship with photographer Danny Mozes.
Cynthia Nixon has been dating Christine Marinoni since 2004. So who is Christine Marinoni?
Christine Marinoni is a education activist in New York City. Christine and Cynthia first met when Cynthia was trying to fight budget cuts at her daughter’s school.
Cynthia Nixon said of their relationship – “I never felt like there was an unconscious part of me around that woke up or that came out of the closet; there wasn’t a struggle, there wasn’t an attempt to suppress. I met this woman, I fell in love with her, and I’m a public figure.” She also once described Christine as ” basically a short man with boobs,” adding that, “a lot of what I love about her is her butchness. I’m not saying I fell in love with her in a sexually neutral way. I love her sexuality – it’s a big part of what I love about her – but I feel like it was her.”
