Anderson Cooper Attacked

Someone finally smacked the little smirk off CNN anchor Anderson Cooper’s face!

Cooper and his crew were attacked while covering the riots in Egypt.  In his explanation of the events, the pretty boy  newsman recalled being hit repeatedly in the face by the crowds as he and his crew made their way through Cairo.   They even tried to dismantle his news camera, but Cooper captured the events on his own Flip video camera (major plug for the mini video camera company!)

For now Anderson Cooper and his CNN news crew have escaped the violence and taken up reporting from a ‘secure location’.  Cooper is hardly the first reporter to be pulled into the increasing violence of the political situation.    Hopefully his entire CNN crew can return home safely soon!
