Jimmy Buffett Falls Off Stage, Released From Hospital

Fans of his music were in shock yesterday when news headlines read, “Jimmy Buffett Falls Off Stage!” Jimmy Buffett had just finished singing “Lovely Cruise” during an encore at a concert in Australia, and somehow he lost his footing and took a bad fall off the stage, sustaining head injuries after the accident. The latest Jimmy Buffett fall update from Margaritaville is that he is doing well, and has been released from the hospital.

Yesterday was scary for many Parrotheads, the proper name for Jimmy Buffett’s quirky fans. Parrotheads come from all walks of life and span different generations, as Buffett’s music is essentially timeless.

A rep for Jimmy Buffett reports that he has canceled his next concert in New Zealand, and “just needs some time to get better.” There is no news yet on what will happen with Buffett’s future concert schedule, but hopefully he will be back up and running by his next scheduled concert date in April.
