Her name isn’t really Sarah Shahi. Although she uses the moniker as her professional name, her official name is really Aahoo Jahansouzshahi.
Athletic past. Sarah Shahi is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Actress. Sarah has had a growing string of credits to her name. She is best known for her roles of Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word and as Detective Dani Reese on Life. Her role of Kate Reed on Fairly Legal is her first sole starring role.
Royal roots. Sarah is a great-great-granddaughter of the 19th century Iranian king Fath Ali Shah Qajar.
Mother. Sarah and her husband met, actor Steve Howey, met on the set of the sitcom Reba. They welcomed their first child, William Wolf Howey, in July 2009.
