Carrie Fisher joins Jenny Craig

Actress and author Carrie Fisher has joined Jenny Craig.

She joins as its newest Jenny Craig celebrity client and spokesperson.

How much weight does she want to lose?

Fisher is starting off the New Year with a resolution to lose 30 pounds.

“A day comes when you can no longer face not wanting to leave the house because you don’t like the way you look. A day comes when you want to stop apologizing for it. When you want to make a decision to live the rest of your life in a healthy way,” Fisher said.

“I haven’t been able to enjoy what otherwise is a good part of my life because so much of what’s on my mind is about my weight.”

Earlier this month, we saw American Idol’s Jennifer Hudson as the new face of Weight Watchers.  She has lost eighty pounds!

What do you think – what’s a better weight loss program?

Is Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig better?
