Police respond to Ted Williams' fight with daughter
Was Ted Williams arrested? Ted Williams, the homeless man with the golden voice who became an overnight sensation last week, was not arrested, but he was detained by police after getting into an argument with his daughter.

Ted Williams reportedly got in a yelling fight with his daughter at a Hollywood hotel last night and police were called to the scene.
Police spokesman Bruce Borihanh told The Hollywood Reporter: “LAPD responded to a disturbance call at the Renaissance Hotel at about 9 p.m. [Monday] night. An investigation was conducted and two individuals were transferred to the Hollywood station. No one was arrested or booked for any crime in relation to this incident.”
Officer Catherine Massey says that Ted Williams and his daughter were “brought in, calmed down, talked to and released.”
So, no major problems for Ted Williams – but here’s hoping he has some good support in dealing with his new found fame so he can stay out of trouble and truly make the best of his second chance.
