The Disney Dream: What Makes Their New Cruise So Special?
A dream comes true on January 19th. A Disney Dream cruise ship that on that day has it’s maiden voyage. A cruise ship that is like none other. A cruise ship that is pure Disney magic. So what makes this the Disney Dream so special?
First off, Disney knows how to do things right, especially when entertaining kids and adults alike. And it looks like they are doing just that in their brand new 130,000 ton ship that can hold 4000 passengers. Some of the fun included will be a 9 hole mini-gold course, a full walking track, digital sports games that mimic soccer, tennis and basketball, a full sized basketball court which can be transforming into a soccer pitch or a volleyball court. Plus the little ones get their own sports area.
Also there is a 30 foot LED screen for showing movies over the pool at night, a kid’s club, a adults-only Quite Cover Pool that has a swim up bar. But big attraction? The Aqua Duck! A 765-foot winding waterslide that winds around the pool area AND over the edge of the ship!
Her home port will be Port Canaveral and will travel to the Bahamas.
