Why Was Teen Mom Amber Portwood Arrested? (plus MUGSHOT)
Amber Portwood looks pretty relaxed in her mugshot above. The star of MTV’s Teen Mom was arrested on Monday in Indiana. The 20-year-old was taken into custody and a temporary restraining order placed on the mother to 2-year-old Leah. So why was Amber Portwood arrested? Her arrest stemmed from domestic violence charges that were depicted in a episode of Teen Mom that aired back in September. On the show Amber is seen assaulting her ex-fiancé,Gary Shirley. From those events, Amber Portwood also lost custody of her daughter Leah with Gary Shirley being – for now – in full custody. Since the arrest, Amber has been forbidden to have any contact with Leah.
Bail has been set and she will face arraignment for three felony counts and one misdemeanor soon.
Do you think Amber Portwood is a victim of too much too soon, did being on a reality TV warp her moral sense or is she just a bad seed?

Keri commented on Jun 10 11 at 1:27 pmI just wish the producers/maker of this show would not have her on this show anymore. It’s causing more harm more bad attention to poor Leah. She needs to start over move on from this show and get her life back in order for her childs sake. I hate when producers are more motivated to put stuff like this on the show because of ratings. Rather then think of the harm it’s doing to a childs life!
