Reese Witherspoon Engaged: Is Jake Gyllenhaal Upset?
Reese Witherspoon is engaged! According to US Weekly, a rep for the Oscar-winning actress announced Tuesday that Witherspoon is engaged to Hollywood agent boyfriend Jim Toth. But what about Jake Gyllenhaal? Do you think Jake is upset by the news?
Reese and Toth have been dating less than a year, after the actress broke up with long-time boyfriend Gyllenhaal. The Legally Blonde star began dating Toth last January, right after her split from Gyllenhaal. Reese and Jim went public with their romance in March during a romantic birthday weekend in Ojai, Calif.
“They are extremely happy,” Witherspoon’s rep told the magazine.
The 40-year-old Toth works at Los Angeles’ Creative Artists Agency, where the 34-year-old Witherspoon is a client; however, Toth does not represent Witherspoon.
This is the second marriage for Witherspoon, who has two children (Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7) with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
Things are pretty serious between Jake and Taylor Swift but no engagement yet. Taylor Swift went to Turks and Caicos for Christmas Eve and Christmas day with her family and Jake Gyllenhaal was not invited. The young pop queen, her mother and brother enjoyed fun in the sun together for their Christmas holiday.
