After getting beat up last night on national TV via Monday Night Football, reports are all over the media that Favre is on his way out.  I think it’s about time!  This year has not been a good one for the football legend.

Brett Favre allegedly sent lewd pictures to Jenn Sterger in 2008, when he was the Jets quarterback and she was a TV sideline reporter. A sports blog broke the story in October, creating a huge scandal.  The NFL has completed an investigation into the matter, but NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell still needs to make his ruling on the sexting incident.

Roger Goodell met with Favre when he was in Minnesota for Monday night’s Bears-Vikings game. The commissioner met with Jenn Sterger last week to question her about allegations that the Minnesota Vikings quarterback sent her X-rated photographs.

According to the New York Daily News, Commissioner Goodell said he’s still “following up” on some of the information in the investigation to make sure it reaches “the right conclusion.”

It’s time Brett!  Turn out the lights and go home!
