Inked: David Beckham Got a Brand New Tattoo! (PHOTO)
David Beckham is no stranger to a tattoo parlor. The legendary soccer star, dad, pin up boy, and tattoo collector got himself some new ink this week. And how did he announce his new body art?
He announced it on Facebook, ‘natch. He wrote: “I want to let you all in on something. Just had a new tattoo done by the legendary Mark Mahoney. Took six hours!”
Mark Mahoney is a Boston born and bred artist who has his shop in Hollywood, CA called The Shamrock Social Club and he really is the tattoo artist to the stars. He’s tattooed the bodies of such super stars as Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Britney Spears.
Originally David Beckham said he would only get tattoos on“my arms and back,” but this piece was right on his the left side of his chest, right by his heart. It must be something that means a lot to him. He already has tattooed tributes to his three sons and wife Victoria Beckham. I’m sure we’ll see soon enough, he is no stranger to taking his shirt off.
