I have been a loyal watcher for years! but I can’t watch without Harry, Dave and Maggie! And where was Maggie’s goodbye? What happened to her? She and Harry were great together. Guess I’ll start going to work earlier.. ha!

Just want you to know that you have made a big mistake letting Harry Smith and Dave Price go. I followed both of them from Fox News and have been watching the Early Show ever since. They were my wake up call for work. Well I will not be watching CBS for the news anymore. I just can’t believe that you let them go. After all the good Dave Price did and things you made him do, shame on you. Letting Maggie go I understand, no heart, did not understand why she would ask some of the questions she did ask.

So tired of people making decisions for me….you made the wrong decision.
These people help me get my morning started, they are the only people I wanted to be around until my coffee kicked in. Thanks for ruining my mornings…Were through.

Big mistake to fire the three best anchors and weather show on the air. They started my day with joy. I wish the very best for all of them and definitely won’t be watching whoever you choose to replace the best.

Well, we know who has $$$$$$$ signs in their eyes….. you have messed up but what do you care? Throw enough money and whiz bang at anything and somebody will watch….but are they the loyal fans? Are they the ones who will support you when you are down? You push that message, but you don’t live by it!!

I just watched the Early Show and it will probably be the last time. I have always watched Harry, Dave and Maggie because they just knew how to touch the hearts of their audience. The show today was so bland and uninteresting. I think if you want any of your loyal watchers to continue then you had better find a way to get them back. I am still in shock over this matter. I guess NBC will soon become the number 1 News network. What have you done? You could fix it!

Shame on you CBS! I have watched Harry, Dave and Maggie for a very long time. They are my morning crew. I really enjoyed all of them together in the mornings. They were great together. UNBELIEVABLE!! SERIOUSLY?? I cannot believe CBS fired Harry Smith. He’s ABSOLUTELY the best there is–by a long shot. He’s the only reason I can stand to watch a morning show, and Dave Price as well-he’s great! I used to watch Fox because of him, then followed him to CBS and discovered Harry too. I think you have made a very big mistake and I am not alone in this thought. As I see it you will not be making your ratings better…you have lost many viewers with this decision. I have tried to watch the early show twice since you changed it all and it is just not as good…I have switched over to ABC for their morning show.

VERY DISAPPOINTED…I just cannot believe that Harry Smith and Dave Price were fired. Harry Smith shows such a compassionate view of the news, he is a pleasure to watch. I don’t understand why you would want to change that. We viewers get accustomed to seeing the same people in the morning while we are sipping our coffee, we don’t want to see different faces and hear different voices. and Dave Price, I just don’t understand it, These two gentlemen have been a part of my weekday mornings for years, and now puff they are gone. I don’t know what the Early Show Director/ CEO are who ever is in Charge of the Show but the show will never be the same. the Quality of the showt will fall I will never watch the early show again. I have been watching lately because I was looking for Harry,Dave and Maggie. I will miss them dearly this is like a death in the family

My mother and I have been watching the Early Show since Harry joined and we think it is sad and wrong to have fired him and Dave Price. They are genuine newsmen with an eye for quality and zero snark. We won’t be watching the Early Show any longer we are sad to say. In fact, we probably won’t be watching any morning shows since none of the others have the same quality. BOOO CBS.

It is unbelievable that you have fired Harry Smith and David Price. Harry Smith knew his work and was a kind person and handled every situation in just the right way. As to Dave, he was great! He had life about his job and did not many fun things to make the viewers enjoy the show. You worry about the ratings. You say you are 3rd in the ratings. You will go to 4th and there are only 3. That should tell you something. These people cared about their jobs and the people around the country. I enjoyed seeing Dave when he went on the road and had to get back home as well as the many other fun and exciting things he did. You will never get that from anybody else. Good luck Harry and Dave. WOW!!! What in the world were you people (CBS) thinking? This was the only morning show I ever watched and only because of Harry Smith and Dave Price. I even endured Maggie just to watch Harry and Dave. I will not be watching the new show nor any other morning show. I will now have better things to do. What a huge mistake! I absolutely loved watching Harry and Dave as I got ready for work each day! Damn big mistake! I guess Julie Chen is safe since she is married to the big boss, Les Moonves.

Very SAD! Was this a Christmas present? Rather get a lump of coal! Your timing is hideous! What a mistake! The only reason I will attempt to see the show from now on will be to watch John Elliot! He is so funny and nice (unlike his bosses, obviously!) Good luck with the new line-up! I predict a real decline in ratings! What a shame! I’ve watched CBS for years. Dave offered a heartfelt commentary with passion for people and their situations. Harry Smith, one of the best anchors on TV today! Harry Smith should have been offered the Anchor job for the Evening News…instead it was offered to “Katie” Couric. Due to CBS making that choice, I no longer watch the Evening news. Now it looks like we’ve lost the morning news too! More and more people get their news off of their computers and smart phones…now I see why. CBS, you sold out to the second string anchors. I have no desire to watch Chris Wragge and the other barbie dolls, Chris is too vain and the others are to hip-hop to take seriously. You went for “new” aged anchors, but the problem is the age frame your looking to attract don’t watch this type of news to get their information! HUGE MISTAKE CBS..the numbers wont lie in the end!

My husband and I are (were) loyal viewers since Harry Smith first started on the Early Show. He and Maggie and Dave were great together. We will miss them all — as we turn to CNN or our local news channel. (Today and GMA just don’t do it for us!)

I have been watching the Early Show since it started with Harry and Kathleen Sullivan. I have watched many anchors come and go (not to mention all the african american personalties). Despite that I stayed with CBS in the morning because of Harry Smith. But now that Harry is gone, I am gone too. Goodbye CBS in the morning.

I switched to CBS when GMA made their big change quite a few years ago. I picked CBS because of Harry Smith. With Harry you feel confident that what you are hearing is fact!! And Dave Price was the finishing touch. He made the weather fun (not easy) . I will switch to the Today Show and not look back.

Dave, you were worth watching for weather and your fantastic sense of humor. I am shocked, really, that CBS would let you and Harry go from the show. You were the reason I tuned in. I don’t watch much TV but always loved starting my day with Harry Smith – and you. I’ll try to follow you wherever you land, unless, of course, it is the Today Show.

BIG HUGE MISTAKE.–YOU JUST LOST ANOTHER VIEWER.

I was so shocked when my daughter called to tell me the bad news. I was afraid that either Maggie or her new baby was ill. Then I thought that everybody was a taking long holiday. CBS was the only morning show that made me fell like I was discussing world events over coffee with friends, You’ve lost me.

CBS is making one of the worst decisions I’ve seen in quite some time. I almost stopped watching when Renee and Hanah were let go, now I will definately no longer wake up to CBS. What a bonehead move to get rid of one of the best anchors of all time (Harry). Dave is a personality that won’t be replaced easily either. I looked forward to accurate weather and a joke every morning to get me jump started. Hopefully this is an April fools joke in December. If not then the decision makers at CBS ARE THE FOOLS.

Harry Smith’s grace and elegance will be missed. The audience will certainly miss his competence, sweetness and the respect he showed to each any every guest. He is the perfect host. His warmth and genuine outreach to his audience comes through. He never speaks down or dumbs down his role as broadcaster. I look forward to watching him on CBS evening news on occasion as well as Sunday morning when its host is away. He deserves to have a greater role than being a substitute host. Views also deserve to have Mr. Smith’s insights and intelligence on a regular basis.

Mistakes are made every day. This decision is just one more example.

What keeps me from watching any other morning show? that would be Harry, Dave and Maggie. CBS, you failed with your last shake up. You can’t expect fans of your show to keep accepting the new changes. It takes time to feel that bond as if family is entering your home each morning. I loved Dave. CBS, you worry about rateings, worry also about loosing the viewers you have. you’ve lost me and my family.

The only thing that would be even a hint of salvation for this decision is if CBS replaced “I’ll see you on the radio” Charles Osgood with Harry Smith on CBS Sunday Mornings.

Harry, Maggie and Dave are the reasons I watched The Early Show over the other networks. Their sincerity and maturity was the difference I wanted in my morning news. I don’t like the new “younger” team you’ve brought in and will no longer be watching The Early Show. You should have fired yer demographics research person not the best morning news anchors!

This was the morning show my family watched, including my three teenagers. We wont be tuning back in.

Truly disappointed. Loved watching Dave Price- he always reminded us that we live in a great country full of great people. Does anyone remember Dave being the Golden Snitch during a game of Quidditch? Besides being a funny weatherman, he is a true humanitarian. Good Luck to Dave, Harry and Maggie! Who whoever the powers that be obviously didn’t consult the viewers when making this dumbfounded decision. You’ve definitely lost three generations of viewership in my family. It was a great pleasure to start my day with the Early show. Dave and Harry will definitely be missed. Maggie had begun to grow on me. Great care and concern when these folks did their interviews. Dave’s drop in Alaska and his coat drive, most certainly has stirred my desire to want to give back wholeheartedly.

You guys will be missed, good luck in your endeavors, when one door closes, not only does another open, but windows as well.

What in the HELL are you thinking CBS!!! You have just gotten rid of the best morning show team there is out there. Harry is a very special personable compassionate caring person and you will never be able to replace him with your new young team. And it goes without saying…. Dave Price is the best of the best. You will never find anyone that will do the job he has done for you and make it so entertaining. I have been speechless since I found out they were fired. You had the best team out there in Harry Maggie and Dave. If the ratings were down your Advertising Dept. wasn’t doing their job. Hopefully Harry Maggie and Dave will keep us all informed on there we can find them next. CBS is history as far as I’m concerned.

I can’t believe it. Another change. Have you ever thought that the low ratings have to do with the people behind the scenes? Harry and Dave made the show. Then you keep Julie Chen. Sorry Julie, but as a reporter you didn’t work for me. Too dramatic. Harry and Dave were sincere and honest. There was no beating around the bush. if they didn’t like something they would admit to it (especially Harry) and that’s what I liked about them. I could trust them. I only watched the weekend edition a few times and was not impressed. Way to showy. I guess it is time for me to move on to another morning news show.

CBS has really made a mistake. What happened to loyalty? I no longer plan to turn on the Early Show. Harry was so professional…not like CBS.

I’m starting the new year without CBS…Have watched it for ever and feel like part of my family has moved into space or some far away land..The last 4 1/2 months of my husband’s life was spent in the hospital. Just like at home we watch the Early Show every morning. I have continued to watch and feel just like I’ve lost more family. CBS I think you have made a terrible mistake..AND we should not only complain to CBS, but also drop the main National Sponcers a line at their websites. There has been a lot of products that I have tried after seeing them shown on the Early Show. I’ll start checking out ABC and CBS for an morning spot. BUT NEVER again will it be CBS unless they bring our family back. I think Chris Raggy is so stuck on his self, and have seen in person how he treats people when the camera is not on him. No matter how Big or Small, Rich or Poor, or how pretty…Harry and dave treat everyone like friends and family.

Very disappointed and sad to see these changes made. The new anchors are fine people but none of them of the caliber that Harry, Dave and Maggie are. I’m certain that money is the bottom line and they fired the people who were most high paid. Not always a good move but it’s all Karma … so whoever had this hair brained idea based on the all important buck well I can only say this sad karma will return to you tenfold.

I am disappointed and disgusted that CBS would let go such experienced and knowledgeable journalists go. Shame on you. I have watched The Early Show for many, many years. Everyone on it was like family. After reading the information about Harry, Maggie, and Dave, I will no longer be watching The Early Show. I will be watching my local Channel 59 News. We’ll miss you Harry, Maggie, and Dave! Good luck to you!

Honestly, I don’t understand why CBS is doing what they are doing by letting these 3 go. They were they only TRUE news journalist (Harry and Maggie) that brought the news, genuinely without the superficial and fake undertone. They were for the people, no drama…..Down to earth. I will still watch despite Harry, Maggie and Dave leaving; because really; The Early Show is the only Morning Show to watch unless if you are lucky to live in a market where there is Local Morning show to watch like WPIX New York…….Best of luck and my 2011 be good to all of us….

Rack up another person leaving The Early Show; without Harry, Maggie and Dave, I’m just not interested. For years I’ve watched as I get ready for work, and since dvr came along I’ve recorded it and finished watching when I get home at night. It’s the anchors and their chemistry that drew me; I can catch news anywhere. I hope to see them together again, meanwhile, I’ll be looking for a new news program.

I am absolutely heartbroken. Young isn’t always better than old!! I am sure that as people, the new crew are fine people, however, you have made a grave error. In an uncertain and ever changing world, Harry, Maggie and Dave were solid, consistent and trustworthy. I watched for about 30 minutes this morning and then sadly turned the channel for good. The best thing you could do for the audience and for CBS would be to admit you made a mistake and beg them to return after such a huge insult. It worked for COKE at one point, maybe there is a chance to save the CBS Morning show….

I am so disappointed with CBS, I loved watching Harry, Dave and Maggie. Dave went everywhere no matter how dangerous his assignment. I will not be watching the Early Show any longer.

Do you really think that replacing these 3 people with a bunch of younger hip people would get you more ratings. I am part of the baby boomers crowd, we are the majority of your viewers…. did it ever occur to you that we enjoyed Harry, Dave and Maggie ???
If your idea was to bring in the younger viewers and still have the older viewers stay tuned you were WRONG. Do you watch the news? (and really get it…) the older 50′s and up crowd ARE YOUR RATINGS…we are the largest in numbers at this time. I agree wholeheartedly with the comments already made. I think Dave Price, Harry Smith and Maggie Rodriguez were a great team. It’s hard to find that chemistry. I watched the new crew the past two mornings and although I have nothing against them personally it feels to me like they are appealing now to a younger audience and not the contemporaries that have been with Harry Smith all along. Harry, Dave and Maggie were genuine. They were serious when need be, empathetic at times and often funny which we certainly need in these times.
Change happens in life, but I don’t know that this was the best way to do it.

What! No more helping Dave Price find his way home on the “No Way Home Series”!!! That was a wonderful series and it can’t be run with anyone but Dave. You people are stupid!!! Poor decision making on the part of the producer(s)!

Big mistake, HUGE mistake for firing a great trio of morning TV. I changed to The Early Show after Katie left the Today Show. Now I will definitely go back to the Today Show. It is SOOOOOOO annoying when stations do things like this. Best of luck to all three of my favorite morning show people.

WTH CBS? Has someone totally lost it? Think this little stunt is going to back fire big time. Made it through 5 minutes of the new cast yesterday before I had to change the channel. To make matters worse I had to put of with the nerve grating voices during Prime-Time. What are you trying to do the the loyal Harry, Maggie, and Dave fans?

So disappointed to not see Dave, Harry, and Maggie anylonger. I will no longer be a viewer of the Early Show, CBS Exec. you probably don’t care but if you keep losing viewers, I would hope you would be out also.

I am shocked to find out that CBS fired Harry Smith. I have been enjoying watching the CBS Early Show since I lost my job. I enjoyed watching Harry, Maggie, and Dave. Harry Smith seems to be a super nice guy and I for me he made the morning show. I wish them all the best. The morning show will never be the same without them.

I have been an Early Show fan for many, many years. Harry, Dave, Maggie and formerly Julie, Renee, etc. got my mornings off to happy, positive start. Harry and Dave make such a wonderful team. What a terrible decision to let them go. I am so very disappointed in CBS and will join the mass exodus. I will no longer be tuning in to the Early Show.

Huge mistake CBS!!! I will no longer watch the Eartly Show. Every morning I looked forward to watching Harry, Dave and Maggie…what an awesome team. The new team just doesn’t have it. I have to watch Good Morning America from now on.

What a terrible start to 2011. I always watch The Early Show but have been out of the country and just returned to find Harry, Maggie and Dave gone. Your new crew are trying hard with all smiles and warm fuzzy mutual admiration, but they’re not just the same as your old crew. Now I’m chanel surfing to find another morning show to fill that void. CBS, I think this shake up will go down as a BIG blunder, as I wonder how many others stayed tune to Chanel 2 to watch The Doctors. I may just shut the tv after watching the news and start my day that much earlier. BAD MOVE!! Don’t be surprised to find your ratings have dropped even lower.

CBS has ruined The Early Show. Harry. Maggie. and Dave are the best. All three of them were very professional doing their reporting. I sure won’t watch the other morning shows. None of them can measure up to Harry, Dave, and the most beautiful woman on tv, Maggie Rodriguez. Good bye CBS.

My husband and I have watched the Early Show for years. We didn’t say anything when Renee Syler and Hanna Storm left. We didn’t say anything when Julie Chen left but now that you got rid of the best – Dave Price, Harry Smith and Maggie Rodriguez, what’s the point of watching it anymore? It’s been boring! Erica Hill and Jeff Glor are fine on Saturdays and fill ins but you had a good thing going and you blew it. Hope it backfires in your faces!

The news casters you have on now suck and have from viewing them on Saturday mornings or when filling in for the previous news casters. They can’t speak or interview with any intelligence. I just have to say I have watched Harry, Maggie and Dave for a long long time and they were a part of my daily routines! Harry Smith is the best there ever was. On the other hand…Katie Couric is SOOOOO skewed to the left (as is your entire organization)…it makes me sick with disappointment…it is sad to see, and I believe it (skewed press) is one of the root causes of the ridiculous problems this once great Country is experiencing…you far lefters need to wake the hell up…IDIOTS!

CBS was always my favorite until Katie became the evening anchor…It’s all gone bad ever since…now it’s getting even worse…maybe you should hire Andersen Cooper as your next morning show anchor, as you are catreing more and more to that demographic…so much for being unbiased…

Looks like Dave and Harry, Maggie are meeting the reality of many other people across the globe, and that is loosing their jobs. I was very surprised about their leaving but must say I actually watch the whole show now. I felt Harry was all about Harry. I feel like it’s a refreshing take on the morning show and will watch it more now. The shows introducing each person with a background sharing of their lives makes them more likeable. Good Show!!

Where in the world are the brains at CBS? The guy in the corner office should jump out the window and entertain the so called younger crowd as he falls past their windows because they certainly aren’t watching their television sets in the morning! Harry Smith brought “class” to CBS and will be sorely missed. It makes me think that the young executives who made this decision have their heads so full of their IPods, IPhones and whatever new electronic gadget on the market that they forgot real people are still the audience. Has CBS ever heard the old adage that, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”? You messed up CBS Harry, Maggie and Dave were magic in the morning! Short and sweet. My husband and I loved Harry, Maggie and Dave. That is the reason we watched the show. Goodbye to your early show . We will no longer watch it.

I can’t believe that you would not only fire Harry, Maggie and Dave, but that you would replace them with such a completely lackluster group. If CBS thinks that this new team will somehow increase its Early Show ratings, they are sadly mistaken. Harry was the best!! I guess from now on I’ll have to suffer with Matt Lauer.

Yep, big mistake you made CBS. I run a home daycare and used to turn the tv on CBS to catch the morning crew and get the weather updates from Dave Price. I am now lost as to where to turn to. I never cared for ABC or NBC, guess I could swith to FOX? Big bummer for me now in the mornings as it will take me a long time to find a replacement TV station as I will be leaving CBS. And I have watched it for as long as I can remember and I am 56. I praised this network to my friend who swears by NBC, guess I will be at least giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I am really sorry CBS that you thought this would bring new viewers, I think you will lose more than you gain. I am also not sure where you get your ratings from, I have never been asked for my viewing choices.

I just don’t understand changing a perfect team. WHY destroy a good thing.
4 generations of our family watched the early show.
No longer. we now have to find a new station or just forget morning news.

How is the new team warming! They all look serious and mornings aren’t the same! Price, Smith, and Rodriguez made a perfect good morning team they made my mornings! All of them were serious and make mornings warming. The different interracial anchors made it more welcoming to watch.

What were you thinking, First you messed up the morning news and now you’ve messed up the Early Show firing Harry, Dave and Maggie. I really enjoyed them as a team. They were so real, like a real family. I will enjoy Harry on Sunday Morning. It is a great show, I love to drink my coffee and watch it, but I’m going to have to say good buy to the early show. How could you get rid of Harry, the whole team, they worked so well together. Boy, you guys are really blowing it!!! You really ruined early morning television. This is so sad not seeing my family in the morning, five days a week. My Husband and I have watched the early show with harry smith, since we were little kids. Every weekday of our marriage of 18 years we have watched this morning show, just like oprah! Dave Price inspired me to keep hiking the A.T.
we have laughed so many times at the jokes, adventures, and admired their unfearful way of expressing the truth, and their opions. Maggie will be dearly missed as well! She will much enjoy staying home with her new baby!
I almost feel like i am mourning the loss of them! Weird Huh? They were my family as my husband would tell you. I was a faithful morning show watcher. I’m sad to say that i wont be as involved with the new morning show peeps. I guess nothing last forever. We should know that from Dan Rather

I switched over from the Today show about a year ago…guess I will be switching back. This was a sad choice to make.

I can’t believe that Harry, Maggie and Dave are not on The Early Show. It sickens me. These 3 ARE The Early Show. I don’t like the new folks at all. I have been waiting and waiting thinking that the MISTAKE would be fixed. I can not believe CBS for having fired 3 of the most wonderful TV Personalities. It is horrible that they are no longer part of my morning. I am very disappointed CBS … the team you now have in their place are just not the same. They definitely lack the flavor and the warmth that Harry, Maggie and Dave had. There will never be a team like theirs – Shame on you for doing this CBS and shame on you for not even giving them a chance to let us (the viewers) say good bye to them… This is good bye from us to you CBS – You have made a HUGE Mistake. It would be VERY interesting to know what logic (or perhaps more appropriate.. illogic) thought process was used in the firing of Maggie, Harry and Dave. Whoever made that decision, just overlooked the fact that the three of them brought an unusual chemistry to the morning news which is entirely lacking now and that perhaps they will never have again. The Early Show WAS one of my favorite news programs for being informative, pleasant and appealing. CBS has lost one of the BEST News Broadcasting team as well as my viewership, my family’s and MANY, MANY, MANY others. I’m sure that there are two sides to the story, but this one seems strange #!?&$$

Harry Smith, Dave Price and Maggie Rodriguez WERE the reason I watched The Morning Show! I really liked their delivery of the news…especially Harry… Dave was also quite entertaining with the weather (and I trusted his ability). REALLY sad to see them go…I thought this new team was while they were on vacation…then I googled…and what a disappointment! I don’t think I’ll be watching anymore…what a shame…

BAD DECISION CBS! I was shocked and saddened by the the firing of Harry, Dave & Maggie. I’ve tried to continue my loyalty to CBS, but the new crew doesn’t even come close to measuring up to those you let go. I don’t see your ratings increasing at all with your loyal Early Show fans’ obvious disappointment in this decision. I will defintely NOT be waking up with CBS anymore!

I have always enjoyed watching Harry & Dave on the Early Show. I didn’t care that much for Maggie but Harry & Dave were the best. I have tried to watch this new crew but I just don’t care for them except for Erica. Should have kept Harry, Dave & replaced Maggie with Erica. So Long Early Show…..

I had seen Dave Price was leaving and thought it was for personnal reasons. I was very bummed because I loved his sense of humor and personality! Then today I turn the show on( when I have days off or go in later to work), just to find only Erica on that I recognize. So I google to find all three of my favorite people were FIRED! Why? I’ve watched them a good portion of my life and truly enjoyed the warmth of the cast. They belonged together and made the morning news bareable! Your new cast lacks the enthusiasm needed to hold it together! I also will not be watching anymore. Poor, poor choice CBS!

Beyond boring is what you can now refer to “The Early Show” as. Bring back the old crew and I will switch back from “The Today Show” my new early morning show to watch. This new crew just has no personality at all. Very stiff and unemotional.

I am a high school teacher, so I was on winter break from the middle of December until January 10th. I had no idea that something had happened to my favorite morning crew. I was perplexed when I tuned in on January 10th for the first time since December 17th. Was everyone on vacation at the same time? After two straight weeks without Harry, Dave and Maggie (who was gone for quite some time before that), I decided I would look it up on the internet. WHAT! All of them were fired? I will not watch The Early Show any more. I loved Harry Smith’s soothing demeanor. He was class all the way. I’ve been missing my perky dose of Maggie for weeks. And Dave Price…no realer person on television than him. Because Erica Hill was on the show when Harry, Maggie and Dave were, I feel like she’s a traitor or something to stay on when the three of them were let go. I will switch back to Matt Lauer on NBC. I switched to The Early Show when Katie Couric left. Is Matt Lauer still on NBC? CBS has ruined The Early Show as far as I am concerned!

I have to agree with a lot of the comments about letting Dave, Harry , and Maggie go. I have been a loyal viewer for years and enjoyed every minute of those people plus others that had been there before. I can understand about trying to reach the “younger” crowd, but lets face it, these new kids on the block just don’t have the fun or personality that the others have. I really have a hard time watching the Early Show now. I really try but it is not the same. Maybe you at CBS have other issues about what make you number three. It probably isn’t the Early Show cast but maybe something much deeper. Some of the new shows out now just are not appealling to me. Get some good old funny shows and not so much violence and corruption. Reality is ok but it is really getting old. The original ones ok but you can’t keep adding more! BAD, BAD, BAD!!!! Maybe the corner office people need to come into the trenches and get a reality check. I love the CSI series show but you are adding more violent shows and it is getting old and enough is enough. If people looked to more funnier shows and less violent and sexually explicit ones, maybe we would have less issues with our children and their behaviors. The TV world is actually a breeding ground for bad behavior and you keep contributing to it. Stop thinking about the dollars and start thinking about the future!!!!

Terrible decision. I missed the fairwells while working early mornings for a two week span and when I returned the entire show was replaced? Many people grow attached to their favorite news anchors and look forward to hearing their voices or watching their broadcast on a daily basis. For me it was part of a routine to listen to Harry, Maggie and Dave while getting ready for my day, and watching the second half of their segment while eating my breakfast. My favorite part of them was that they were fun and the way they all interacted with each other. I watched the new cast once, and they were all unorganized, stuttering and a mess. BIG MISTAKE. I am now in an frustrated search for a new morning news team that I can not only tolerate, but also enjoy. I hope that the ratings drop vastly from this change and CBS learns that cleaning house is not a way to boost your ratings.

So disappointed that you fired Harry Smith, Dave and Maggie. I agree with another former fewer -Harry Smith is another Walter Cronkite. Dave put a little humor in the weather segment, but his and Harry’s genuine caring personality is what will be missed the most by myself. I don’t care for Katie Couric either, as she is ALWAYS ragging on Sarah Pailin.Her attitude is as if she is better than everyone else, and thinks she is never wrong. So that takes care of the morning show and the evening news with CBS. I no longer watch your station.

Here we are the end of January. When I get up in the morning I turn on the Early Show but can not get into it. No Harry, Maggie or Dave. Don’t care for the new team so I change the channel. I think you made a huge mistake. There fore starting tomorrow I will be turning on another channel each morning. I must say I am watching fewer CBS channels these days.

Disappointment does not begin to describe how I feel! First you get rid of Rene Siler who I loved! But I stayed with you. Harry Smith and Dave Price were worth sticking around for. But now… Your show is a mess. I turn off the TV when Early Show comes on. There are better things to do with my time! If you had any sense you would hire them back immediately and bring Rene back too, for that matter. Goodness Gracious! You made a BAD decision.

I started watching the Early show in Feb 2010 when I was laid off from my job. Dave, Harry and Maggie gave me a boost to start my day. They were there for me during a very hard time. I seen the show when Dave was saying his good byes and didn’t know what was going on. I can’t believe they were fired. They were truly genuine people and you could relate to them. I cried with Dave Price when he was finding his way home and smiled with him when he made it!
It’s just not the same and I won’t be watching anymore!

I definitely think your ratings are going down the tube. Nothing against the new crew, but they aren’t Harry, Dave and Maggie. The Early Show is now off my radar. I am a little slow but can’t believe that Harry, Dave and Maggie were FIRED. I truly enjuowed waking up to them in the morning. I DO NOT like the new morning crew! It’s not about change either. I don’t feel that they have the same panache that the crew did have. They don’t mesh and maybe that will come in time but they don’t capture me and therefore I will be going to Fox news now. I think that was a poor move. They were honest and reported what they felt. I think we need that. You all will be sorely missed!!!

Well, I never used to watch the Today Show. Loved the warmth that I felt when watching Harry Smith and his cronies on the Early Show. This change hasn’t been an improvement and has made me change to the Today Show. I am totally disappointed in CBS and doubt that their ratings will improve because of this change.

When Dave moved from Fox 5 I followed him. Now that he and the others are gone I’ve switched to ABC, with peeks at NBC, Fox, Pix (11) and an occasional glance at CBS. I do enjoy the new crew, just not as much as I miss Dave.

I’m not partial to the new and improved (?) Katie Couric, so I’ve taken a pass on her.

Bad Move!!! I remember Dave Price from FOX 5 when his career was just starting, and when I saw him on CBS I said, wow, what an asset to acquire. Both Dave Price and Harry Smith were professionals, gentlemen and a great addition to the CBS Early Show, I know they will persevere and shame on you CBS, your HUGE loss. You have lost another viewer.

I switched from Today Show to CBS Early Show a few years ago and absolutely loved it because of Harry, Maggie and Dave – they were such a pleasure to watch and felt so at home. Sadly, I cannot watch CBS anymore – nothing personal against the new crew, I’m sure they are very nice people, but it is very bland and boring now – Harry, Maggie and Dave are very distinct and interesting personalities who have substance and are great assets to morning TV. Dave is an adorable nut and love him!

I TOO HAVE NOT WATCHED THE EARLY SHOW SINCE HARRYS last day. For awhile We thought Maggie was on vacation being Christmas time and all. Then with Daves goodbye (very tearful) I said to my husband what’s going on

Not happy with the new crew. I tried to be open minded and give them a chance but I find them cheezy, plastic ,and unrealistic (what is up with that weather person?). Harry, Dave, and Maggie were the real deal that real people could relate to. I have switched to Matt and the gang…sorry I couldnt take this last segment on their personal recipes. Big mistake and boring!. Too bad your network is looking for a fresh look. Familiarity is comforting and now you have taken that away. We understand that freshness is needed, so remodel the set dont throw away people. I get tired of my family once in awhile but Im not going to fire them. You lost a family and now you have lost ours. That may not be a concern for you and your bottom line but now we are firing you. No longer watching in Ohio.

I Fire you CBS! Simply put.

Husband & I have been in Florida for 3 months and our schedules have changed a bit so was not aware of this stupid move on CBS’s part. When we get back to NY and our old routine, be assured that we will be seeking a new station to watch ALL of our shows!

Hey CBS…..do you read all these messages? Do you get the picture? WE ALL WANT HARRY, DAVE AND MAGGIE BACK!! Why don’t you listen to what your viewers want. Obviously they had a huge following that you are not paying attention to. The new team lacks the luster and pizzazz that Harry, Dave and Maggie gave to the show. Please listen to your audience!!

I can believe you CBS!!! please know that i no longer watch your morning show, i switch to your show from FOX following Dave Price sorry…..also loved Maggie and Harry…..bye good riddance!!!!!!!!!

That is the worst mistake CBS has ever made…well second biggest. First was hiring Katie Couric! I don’t watch the early show anymore. I now watch the Today show. Harry Smith needs to replace Katie!!

CBC, you suck now. In my opinion, you were trying to replace older people with younger and you made it soooo obvious. I have not watched the Early Show since and it is on my local station. Shame on you. Now I watch Diane Sawyer.

I have watched the Early Show every possible day I could. I can’t watch it again without thinking about Harry, Maggie and Dave so I go to another channel. What a mistake……………what idiot came up with this idea?????? Are any of them on another program? I really miss seeing them.
