The movie has all the makings of a good country song because there’s drinking, cheating and a lot of emotion!

Country Strong follows the comeback of a country music queen, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, who gets involved with a rising young singer-songwriter (Garrett Hedlund) as they embark on a career resurrection tour helmed by her husband/manager (Tim McGraw) and featuring a beauty-queen-turned-singer (Leighton Meester).  Between concerts, romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.I’m exhausted just reading about it, how about you? But I can’t wait to see this flick!

Country Strong costars real life country star Tim McGraw, along with Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester. The film was produced by Tobey Maguire and his partner Jenno Topping, who came west for the Los Angeles preview with the stars of the movie, along with Tim McGraw’s wife, country superstar Faith Hill.
