Artie Lange: Will Artie Lange Return to Howard Stern Show With New Contract?
Will Artie Lange return to the Howard Stern Show following news of Howard Stern’s contract deal for another five years with SIRIUS XM?
No one knows for sure, but Artie Lange fans are hopeful that Lange will return to Stern yet again.
SaveBabyGorilla.com recaps the Artie Lange saga nicely, with a hopeful outlook on Artie gracing Stern’s radio show yet again in the future.
Last year, you may recall that Artie Lange missed a Stern show on Monday, December 7, returned Tuesday, December 8 to announce the cancellation of his comedy shows, and was out again on Thursday. On December 14, 2009, Sirius requested that Artie take time off.
Artie Lange’s suicide attempt came just a couple of weeks later.
As time has passed, little has been discussed about Artie Lange by Howard Stern, with Gary occasionally giving an update on how Artie is doing. Lange got back to stand up in September 2010.
Do you think Artie Lange will return to Howard Stern?

AFV commented on Dec 09 10 at 3:11 pmAny long time listener of Howard knows that he doesn’t want to sit next to someone who’s suicidal. Unstable perhaps, suicidal no. It may be sad but Artie did this to himself with his own free will. Sometimes hard to sleep in the bed you make.
Eric commented on Dec 09 10 at 3:38 pmI recently saw Gary on the Dan Patrick show and he did say that Artie had done 1 stand up appearance, because his therapist thought it would be good for him. So the article is right about him returning to stand up, but it was only one appearance.
Mary commented on Dec 09 10 at 4:44 pmMiss you Artie. The show hasn’t been the same since he left.
Here’s a nice facebook page for our Baby Gorilla.
