Rielle Hunter Wants to Marry John Edwards
As friends and family are mourning the passing of Elizabeth Edwards, the mistress of her estranged husband John Edwards is already thinking marriage?
Rielle Hunter continues to have hope that she and the former candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination can finally be together, a source told RadarOnline.com
“Rielle has been very patient through all of this. She still believes that John is her soul mate, and she thinks that they’re going to get married,” the source said.
The source also said that Hunger has been closely watching Elizabeth’s situation and is very selfish. “She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She’s been selfish and horrible this whole time, no matter what else has been said about her,” the source said.
Hunter currently lives in a home paid for by John Edwards. Hunter lives with daughter Quinn, the child she and Edwards had together even though he originally denied was his. The National Enquirer busted Edwards visiting Rielle and Quinn in a Beverly Hills hotel in 2008, after he lost the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama.
Rielle never expressed regret for her role in the scandal, even denying she was a home wrecker and basically blaming Elizabeth for John straying.
Basically, don’t expect a lot of sympathy now. “She will say some nice things about Elizabeth, but only if it makes her look good,” the source said.
On Tuesday, Elizabeth, 61, passed away after her battle with cancer. She was surrounded by friends and family who rushed to her side after the shocking announcement on Monday that any further medical treatment would be futile.
Many of Elizabeth’s supporters applauded her courage while dealing with a husband who cheated on her as she battled cancer.
