Kelly Ripa on Crutches – What Happened to the Kelly?!? (VIDEO)
Kelly Ripa and her co-host Regis Philbin haven’t been very lucky lately. They both had their own physical injuries to show off on the air. Regis had some stitches on his hand but 40-year-old Kelly Ripa stole the show when she hobbled onto the set on a pair of crutches. So what happened to this celebrity mom and why is Kelly Ripa walking with crutches?
She explained on the show that she had a stress fracture on the fermoral neck in her right hip. I have no idea what that means, but it sounds like it hurts! But she did say that “It looks much worse than it is” She had actually been in pain for weeks but had thought she had just strained or had torn a muscle.
Kelly Ripa is known for being in fabulous shape but the doctors have banned her from going to the gym or doing any exercise at all for three to six weeks. But it looks like they didn’t tell her she couldn’t wear heels. On the show she sported what looked like four inch heels.
So what does she do now? She said, “I don’t need any surgery, I don’t need anything special done. I just have to sit down.” But for this very active mom of three, I bet it will be hard to do!

Forget the heels, you look GREAT in flats or sneakers. Why further hurt your self for fashion. I rather see you on the show than home on the couch watching someone else take your place.

Please learn to sit down more often (it took me 40+ years to learn this. Rest more, please, so you can heal well, and don’t forget to smell the roses more and more and more. Love ya!
