Watch Samuel Koch video of stunt accident

The Samuel Koch video showing a stunt accident on German TV show Wetten Dass is really tragic. Samuel Koch, seen in the video catapulting over a moving car on spring stilts, suffered massive injuries when the stunt went wrong.

Samuel Koch was rushed to a nearby hospital where he had emergency surgery after suffering a broken neck and blood clots near his brain, according to Walter Kehr, spokesman for the ZDF network, which airs Wetten Dass.

Was Samuel Koch paralyzed in the stunt accident?

While that information is not yet known, Samuel Koch is now in stable condition, according to the Associated Press.

The Samuel Koch video captures the tragic accident that took place on live television in Germany, in front of an audience of 4,000 plus an estimated 10 million TV viewers.

It’s unclear what exactly happened, but the Samuel Koch video seems to indicate that he hit his head on the top of the car while flipping, as he landed without attempting to catch himself.

Koch was wearing a helmet for the stunt; it’s believed his stilts may have malfunctioned, resulting in the stunt accident.

i bthink that the car hitting the back of his head made him flip too fast and over shoot the time he had to land…. a flip and a half basically.

I believe he had already just jumped 3 cars successfully. I could be that fatigue made him mis-judge the 4th jump. So tragic. I watched more clips from the same network on the aftermath, and the show host [dude in funky bowtie] was pretty devastated, said he he’d just had dinner with the kids and his family the night b4 the accident, that they don’t want to send the wrong message to other kids who might try to jump a skateboard or something over a moving car. Just overall very sad.
