ALO 1241202 Jennifer Grey Going Under the Knife Again. Is DWTS to Blame?

Jennifer Grey has had to undergo quite a few surgical procedures in her time. She had a major surgery on her neck leading up to Dancing with the Stars and she famously got her nose done, but now she’s heading back in for yet another visit under the knife, this time to it’s not to revisit her neck but rather to repair a ruptured disc. How did it happen?

Her grueling dance training for Dancing with the Stars damaged the 50-year-old mom’s back, which now needs surgical help. She told Access Hollywood that:

“I ruptured a disc, and I’m gonna go home today and I’m probably gonna have surgery this week or sometime next week,”

“It’s just gonna be like a little surgery where they take out the ruptured disc thing, and you know, it won’t be a big deal. Compared to the other surgeries I had on my neck, my doctor says it won’t be a big deal,” Jennifer continued. “I’ll be home that night.”

How did her fragile neck do during the intense dance regime?

“My neck is fine,” she said. “My neck did really well because it has a steel plate in it. So, it was really, actually, [it’s] probably the strongest part of my body.”
