Eva Longoria Plans To Adopt A Child Despite Divorce
Eva Longoria won’t let a divorce stand in the way of her dreams to adopt a child.
The 35-year-old Desperate Housewives actress, who filed for divorce over a week ago from NBA star Tony Parker, wants to adopt a child from Haiti as a single mother.
“Eva had her heart set on adopting a child from Haiti,” says a source. “She so wants to be a mother. She wanted to adopt with Tony, but she’s happy to go ahead as a single parent and is very excited after what’s been a dark period.”
Since the earthquake in January, Haiti has become close to Eva’s heart as she has immersed herself in fundraisers to help the devastated island.
In the past Eva has indicated that the sick Latino children she meets in her work with the California-based charity Padres Contra El Cáncer had inspired her to adopt.
“Every time I work with kids from Padres, my heart explodes with happiness and joy. They’re so inspiring,” she said. “I could only wish to have children as strong.”
Do you think Eva will make a good mother?

Eva is one of the few celebreties that is down to earth and you don’t see her exposing herself in a bad way .. if you see her she is doing charity, helping out people in need. I still can’t believe tony would betray her in that way he has lost the most valuable thing he ever had
