Is Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars Voting Political? Poll Indicates DWTS Political Votes
Is Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars because of political voting? Are the majority of Bristol Palin voters keeping her in the competition because of political reasons?
The ABC.com Dancing with the Stars vote online procedure is completely cheater-free, says a DWTS producer, but a new poll indicates that DWTS fans believe Palin’s fans are Tea Party/Sarah Palin supporters.
Dancing with the Stars’ political voting is a comment I keep seeing in the whole Bristol-Palin-in-the-DWTS-finals brouhaha, with many thinking that Tea Party voters and Sarah Palin supporters have kept Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars, week after week.
Are conservative Republican voters the reason Bristol Palin has had such DWTS staying power?
A poll conducted by The Washington Post and ABC News indicates that many believe Bristol Palin’s advancement is purely political.
Bristol Palin political voting and tea party conspiracies aside, maybe it’s Bristol Palin’s underdog status and likeability that have advanced her to the finals.
Or maybe DWTS voting is, in fact, political.
Sure, Bristol Palin has made improvements on Dancing with the Stars and she’s not a performer like the other finalists, so she’s relatable. But she clearly doesn’t have what it takes to win a dance talent competition.
Back to those poll results… in The Washington Post/ABC News poll, fifty-four percent of Americans believe Palin is a DWTS finalist for political reasons, indicating that Sarah Palin supporters have been casting their votes for Bristol to win.
Only 14 percent of respondents think Bristol is in the finals because of her dance talents.
What do you think of Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars? Could this political voting conspiracy result in Bristol Palin being the winner of DWTS?

HMC commented on Nov 23 10 at 9:54 amIsn’t popularity, not necessarily dancing, a big part of what makes the show. After each dance, the dancers are interviewed and the viewers are asked to call or text in their favor. If they want only the talented to win, then limit the votes to the judges. You can’t have it both ways!

John Walters commented on Nov 23 10 at 10:00 amThe SHOW IS TOTALLY FIXED. Palin is no where near the dancer that others that were let go. Much better dancers. We see the judges scores but never the phone in scores, so I believe here is something wrong with the show judging. I told my wife the show is a fake.
John Walters commented on Nov 23 10 at 10:04 amThe whole show is a fake. To many good people have been let go and Palin is still there who can,t dance. We see judges scores but not the call in scores. To me and more watchers think the same. The senior judge keeps telling Palin your so good bull.
Linda Wasik commented on Nov 23 10 at 10:22 amAgain the show is suppose to be about intertainment, and improvement, and people who are not pros learning to dance. Jennifer and Brandy had dance experience. Bristol and alot of the others had’t. I wish only those with no previous experience were picked for the show that way it would be a fair competition! We could really appreciate thier hard work and improvement week to week.
cleatus commented on Nov 23 10 at 10:44 amThis show is supposed to be about STARS and Bristol is not a star. She has not accomplished anything in life but having a baby out wedlock.
lcenter commented on Nov 23 10 at 1:46 pmHow could Bristol feel good about these results when she is not winning on her own merit?
lindaj commented on Nov 23 10 at 4:12 pmI am totally sick of hearing negative about Palin. If Bristol is favored..so be it…why ALWAYS bring Sarah into EVERYTHING…Jennifer is a professional dancer…should have perfect scores…just not on THIS supposedly amateur show…..
Trish commented on Nov 23 10 at 10:48 pmI see a lot of people saying the Brandy should not have been on the show because she is a dancer. Brandy is a SINGER! not a dancer. And considering she sings R & B she did not no any more about professional ballroom dancing than anyone else, BUT she is a better dancer than Bristol Palin! I agree with one of the writers before me, Bristol cannot dance period! But because of who her mother is the Tea Party folks made this a political thing and rigged the voting so she would be in,because she should have been gone weeks ago! Now the judges are saying she is mahvelous! GIMME A BREAK! If she wins I am going to stop watching dancing with the stars because I will know for sure that the show is rigged. Reality TV my foot! All of these so called reality tv shows are staged to a point because a camera is following them around. At the end of the day…BRISTOL PALIN CANNOT DANCE!!! and if the Tea Party had not rigged the show and voted 40 million times over and over, she would have been gone a long time ago. Yes Bristol Palin dancing with the stars voting is very political! She gets it honest look at her Mom, she is a tea party/republican but she is definitely Hollywood. Every time you turn around she is in the press, writing books, she has her own reality tv show too, so hey I guess it runs in the family. Anything to get the family name out there. Just a FAKE!
Dan Q commented on Nov 25 10 at 5:13 pmThere are 3 things i hate. 1)Republicans 2)Sarah Palin 3) Rush Limbaugh. just thought i’d throw that out there. lol
