Erin Barry: Will Her Cheating With Tony Parker Hurt Her Charity Work? What About the Kids?!?!
Many times the after effects of an affair have far reaching ramifications. It’s not just the spouses, their children and their families that are effected, but sometimes the net is cast wider harming others lives in ways that might not be obvious. Case in point, the Erin Barry cheating with Tony Parker scandal. What innocent lives will be effected?
Erin Barry has been extremely active in her and her husband’s charity Barry’s Blue Ribbon Assists.” It is an organization that helps abused children and to raise much needed funds for Child Protective Services. The “Barry’s Blue Ribbon Assists,” was under the Spurs Foundation and was done in conjunction with San Antionio District Attorney Susan Reed’s “Blue Ribbon Task Force.”
And now, the website that promoted their charity Barryshelpsa.org have the message “Account Suspended.” Who knows how long the site has been down or if it was taken down due to the media frenzy over anything and everything having to do with the Barrys.
Erin spoke of their charity saying,
“San Antonio has a child abuse problem,” Erin admits. “I think everyone needs to be aware of the problem. I’ve been active in [child abuse prevention] for seven years now in every city we’ve been in. As long as Brent and I are here, we want to try and make a difference in as many children’s lives as possible.”
“For me to be able to use the blessings that I have to help other kids who are less fortunate and other families that have such problems…it really feels good. I feel like I am able to share our good fortune with others.”
But will she not be able to get as much support to raise money due to this scandal?
