Why Brandy Was So Devastated To Be Eliminated On Dancing With the Stars?
Why was Brandy so devastated to be sent home on "Dancing with the Stars?"
In all my years of watching “Dancing with the Stars,” I’m not sure I can remember seeing someone look as devastated as Brandy when she was sent home (wrongfully!!) tonight. Brandy and Maks made such a dynamic, exciting couple, and it really hurts the show’s credibility that they were sent home. But it is, after all, just a TV show. Why did this mother of one look like her world had just collapsed when Tom Bergeron said she was going home?
The reason is that Brandy has said she feels as though winning “DWTS” would snap a run of bad luck that goes back several years, including the collapse of her marriage, the fatal accident she was involved in, her firing from “America’s Got Talent” and the collapse of another relationship.
It sounds strange, but I understand where she’s coming from. Have you ever had a streak of bad things happen and you’re convinced you just need one good thing to break the streak? It really seemed she had the stuff to win, too, and the judges clearly felt that the wrong decision had been made.
Let’s hope Brandy and Maks do take Bruno up on his suggestion they do their freestyle next Tuesday. That would be a small consolation, but at least we’d get to see them again. (And if Bristol wins this thing, I am so done with this show.)

She stole the finals away from Brandy, who is the one who deserves to be there. I used to love this show but this kind of upset is turning me off. This is worse than Sabrina being sent home a few years ago. If Bristol wins I agree with you I am so done with this show. Watch the judges lower her scores next week in an attempt to prevent it.

This whole competition was such a political scam and Bristol’s mom wasted no time begging people to vote for her daughter who has no talent at all..

Not because of talent, far from it, but because her Mother has got the entire tea party voting. it would take an idiot to think otherwise. Palin thinks she is there because of her hard work? well, there have been others that worked harder then her that were better and were eliminated. Hopefully the producers of this show will not ever do such a thing again and invite a politicians daughter to the show.

Joe and Jane Public are not dance afficionados, we cant really know whether a turn should be done flat-footed or on your toes!!! We vote based on popularity and our own values, morals and comfort. Some would say Bristol looks lazy , fat and sloppy, with a zombie look in her eyes. Some might feel Brandy was a zealous, overbearing brat, that wanted to win at all cost. Those are some peoples view, NOT ALL….bottom line, if you didn’t vote, you cant complain much!

I’m sure they look at it as the “evil Hollywood”. I honestly feel sorry for Bristol having to hear this stuff. All this is making her mother look Presidential? Yea right. That’s all we need is a “Reality Star” President. Kate Gosselin for VP!

The only ratings ABC will have with the rest of this season is the Tea Party “don’t have a clue about DANCING” idiots. If she could dance better than the others it would be a different story! BUT SHE CAN’T!!!

Brandy has been dancing for quite a few years, Bristol has no experience. Bristol has been the most improved dancer this season, so why shouldn’t she stay be in the finals. Brandy has not bettered her skills since week 4, why shouldn’t be eliminated.

This is certainly not the first time a participant advanced or won on this show because of popularity over talent!!! Bristol can dance, I know Bristol would not continue to be on DWTS unless the judges and those who call in actually believe that Bristol can dance, and very well.Bristol and mark totally deserve to be in the finals. Face it, obviously Bristol was a better dancer than Brandy. And as far as Sarahs’ new Reality Show… I think it is Brilliant.I am only one of millions who think so.
