I’m happy for her and all, but it seems a little bit strange that Jessica Simpson got engaged a mere week after her ex-husband Nick Lachey announced that he was engaged to Vanessa Minnillo. Eric Johnson and Jessica Simpson have only been together for about five and a half months, and they’re already running down the aisle. Is there a chance that Jessica Simpson got engaged so quickly because she’s pregnant?
Jessica Simpson has not been shy about the fact that she wants marriage and kids…and now that she’s 30 years old, I’m guessing that she wants those things sooner rather than later. Seriously, would it be that big of a shock if this turns out to be a shotgun wedding?
Did Jessica Simpson get engaged because she’s in love, to get revenge on Nick Lachey, or because she’s already got a bun in the oven?
