Taylor Momsen Blames Her Parents For Her Outrageous Behavior

Well this comes as no surprise, but wild child Taylor Momsen has all but outright blamed her parents for her outrageous behavior.
The singer/actress who loves to be as shocking as possible whenever she speaks told Starpulse that “Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?’ My parents signed me up with Ford [modeling agency] at the age of two. No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice.”
“My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life.”
Well hot on the heels of the Demi Lovato rehab incident I don’t know if I’m relieved that a former child star is speaking out or if this is just another way for Taylor Momsen to excuse her behavior.
Taylor Momsen has a reputation for acting like a spoiled brat and trying to be all grown up even though she’s only 17 years old. She insults other artists, has been rumored to show up to set completely unprepared and has given interviews where she seems that her #1 priority is to shock people as much as possible.
But – is she now telling us that the reason for this is because she’s truly unhappy? Is she trying to send a message to other stage parents out there that if they push their children into ‘the business’ it could all come back to haunt them?
Maybe. And let’s face it; Hollywood’s young stars don’t really have that great of a track record when it comes to growing up to be well balanced adults. So maybe Momsen’s behavior will be seen more as a warning to those thinking that they want to get their kids into show business.
