JMB 0027381 199x300 ABC The View: Watch Joy Behar Make Her Famous Lasagna Recipe (Video)Who knew that Joy Behar was a fabulous closet cook?  The comedienne showed off her culinary skills on yesterday’s episode of The Viewwhen she whipped together a batch of her famous lasagna for co-host Whoopi Goldberg’s birthday.

We posted the recipe yesterday, but now we’ve got our hands of the video to help show you how to pull together Joy’s perfect lasagna at home.

In the clip, Joy attempts to teach co-host Sherri Shepard how to make the lasagna recipe.  The finished result?  Joy’s pan of pasta looked perfect for a busy family to eat during a busy week.  Sherri’s not so much.

Try out Joy Behar’s lasagna recipe tonight!

I’m anxious to try this recipe. My son just got out of the hospital and will be making it for him (and us). Can’t wait. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Joy. I watched you make it on tv – you made it look so easy – and YUMMY.

Yum!!! We adore lasagna and I did not get to see this episode!! Thanks for sharing it – I usually make my pasta with Kamut Wheat noodles so I will be anxious to see how this all cooks up! Yay :)

I made this the other night. Hubby and co-wokers all agreed it was the best lasagna they ever had!! Joy is right you must use real italian tomatos and fresh herbs. I did everything she said and it was amazing. The only confusing part was tomato sauce and oregeno, it was not listed in the ingredient list but was in the recipe…so I just added an 8 ounce can of sauce and some dried oregeno. This will be a staple dish in our family!!!

Joy, your recipe for Lasagna does not have the amounts for the tomatoe paste or the oregano, I sure would appreciate it if yoou would let me know whar they are. Thank you.

I meant to say tomatoe sauce.

Joy – You have tomato sauce listed in the instructions, but do not have it listed with the other ingredients. How much tomato sauce should I add?
