Will The Next Dancing With The Stars Have a Same-Sex Couple?
Dancing with the Stars may soon be coming out of the closet. There are new rumors that for the next season of the insanely popular reality show Dancing with the Stars there won’t be just the traditional female with male match ups but that they may introduce a same sex pairing. So who would be good for the such a high profile and perhaps controversial role?
Perez Hilton quotes a source who said:
“Two men would be less accepted as two gorgeous ladies, that is why the producers’ first choice is Portia de Rossi, who is married to Ellen DeGeneres.”
“Portia is perfect because she is openly gay and happily married to her wife, who happens to be one of America’s most loved celebrities.”
“She is not controversial like Rosie and would be an inspiration to gay teens throughout the country.”
Would you like to see a same sex pairing on the show? Do you think it would be a good message for the youth? Or do you think more conservative parents would switch off the show if it celebrates a same sex pairing?
