Darren Criss biography

Who is Darren Criss and where can you find the Darren Criss biography about this very talented actor who co-starred on Glee last night?

Darren Criss, without a doubt, had Glee fans swooning, as he sang Teenage Dream in Glee’s “Never Been Kissed” episode. Watch Darren Criss sing ”Teenage Dream” (video).

I admit I was totally crushing on Darren Criss too!

Darren Criss’ biography includes a role as Harry Potter in the “A Very Potter Musical” (AVPM!) YouTube viral video, as well as A Very Potter Sequel. He also wrote half of the songs for AVPM and all of them for A Very Potter Sequel, so Criss’ talent runs deep!

Darren Criss made his Glee debut as Blaine, a gay student from rival school Dalton Academy, on last night’s Glee episode 6.

How many episodes of Glee can we expect Darren Criss on? Glee creator Ryan Murphy hasn’t given a firm number, but expect to see Darren around a little bit longer. Murphy shares: “Darren has a major, major arc…He sort of becomes Kurt’s mentor.”

Darren Criss says of his role on Glee: “I can’t confirm or deny. I really don’t know how long I’ll be on the show. I will tell you that I’ve done more than one episode. I want to stay on as long as possible.”

Darren Criss’ biography includes a few other TV roles – you may have seen him on Eastwick and Cold Case – plus he released an EP on iTunes over the summer.

Bonus Darren Criss bio note: he auditioned for the role of Finn on Glee!

I thought the episode was fantastic in the way Blaine helped Kurt with being bullied. I am far removed from high school and still remember the torment of people suspected of being gay. A very important storyline for anyone and any age. Prejudice and ridicule unfortunately don’t just go away after high school. You must show courage and pride in who you are everyday. Never forget that. Bravo Ryan Murphy. You are doing so much more than you can realize.
