Watch Katherine Jackson on Oprah in this video clip, where Michael Jackson’s mom talks about his death, including what a shock it was to her.

Katherine Jackson says the day Michael Jackson died was “the worst day of my life.”

Michael Jackson’s mom says of Michael, “He always stays on my mind. His memory is with me.”

Katherine Jackson tells Oprah about Michael Jackson’s need to undergo skin surgery to treat vitiligo, saying, “He didn’t want to start looking ‘like a spotted cow.’ I don’t know what in the world he did to change that, but he did.”

Jackson believed that Michael was addicted to plastic surgery, noting that he “had more than two” nose surgeries.

When Oprah asked Katherine about Michael and drugs, she said, “I spoke to him about (drugs) once, when I had heard it and he denied it. I was telling him I didn’t want to one day hear that he had overdosed because it would break my heart…He kept saying, ‘My own mother don’t believe me.’ Part of me wanted to believe him, but I didn’t believe him.”
