Watch Dina Lohan on Today Show: Lindsay Lohan Rehab Update (Video)
Watch Dina Lohan on the Today show (video), where she talks with Matt Lauer about daughter Lindsay Lohan’s rehab treatment.
Lindsay Lohan is more than 40 days into her stay at the Betty Ford Clinic, and the Today show reports that “if the goal is to get Lindsay Lohan clean and back on track, it may already be working,” citing reports that Lindsay Lohan has been emailing friends to apologize for her past actions.
Lindsay still has another 8 weeks of rehab to go – she’ll be receiving treatment through January 3, 2011.
Dina Lohan talks about how Lindsay is doing, saying that she’s “happy… relaxed… she’s just a different person.”
Dina also discusses how she’s been involved in family sessions at Betty Ford, which helps families dealing with their loved ones’ problems.
Dina Lohan adds that Lindsay has “been in a couple of facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her. They get into your psyche and bring the problem to the surface.”
As to where Lindsay Lohan’s heading after rehab, Dina says that her daughter wants to “start her own facilities, help other children. She’s so public… we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families.”
Whether Lindsay Lohan will start her own rehab facility remains to be seen – let’s just hope she gets through her 5th rehab treatment successfully and stays clean!
