Will Georgina Bloomberg Ride Again After Accident?
Georgina Bloomberg, daughter of New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, was in a horse riding accident during the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament this weekend. Georgina Bloomberg suffered a fractured spine and a concussion after the accident. She fell after her saddle became loose.
Georgina Bloomberg initially seemed okay after her fall, but the next morning she complained of back pain and was taken to the hospital where her injuries were discovered.
Georgina is supposed to have another evaluation of her injuries today, but a fractured spine is nothing to mess around with. We can’t help but wonder if she will be cleared to ride again after sustaining an injury like this.
Mayor Bloomberg is said to be “very concerned” about his daughter’s condition, as is expected.
We wish Georgina Bloomberg the best and hope that everything turns out okay, and that she will be back in the saddle again in no time!
