Conan O’Brien – 5 Reasons Parents Should Tune in to Conan on TBS

conan 300x203 Conan OBrien 5 Reasons Parents Should Tune in to Conan on TBSConan O’Brien makes his return to late night television in less than two hours with the debut of his new show Conan on TBS.    The premiere marks the end of a summer long marketing campaign in which the late night host returns to his nightly routine of making us laugh.

Here are a few reasons why parents should skip the early bedtime and stay up late to watch Conan’s premiere:

He’s got a family to feed.  The funny man has a wife, Elizabeth, and two kids – Neve and Beckett – at home.  After months on the unemployment line (if you ignore the $45 million payoff he received from NBC) the host really needs to get back to work!

The Beard.  You’ve got to tune in to see if Conan decides to keep the beard he’s been growing during the hiatus or if he’s caved to the pressure to shave it off.

The Nutcracker Lady.  Conan’s first guest is reportedly Arlene Walker of the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum.  Only Conan would open the show with a nutcracker lady!

The Promos.  The promos that have been airing all Fall remind us of the cutting sarcasm that has been missing in late night since Conan left his post at The Tonight Show.   A return of the goofy Conan is on tap!

Andy Richter.  Nobody has the chemistry in late night of Conan O’Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter.

The extra bonus for parents – Conan is on at an earlier hour than the rest of the late night fray.  There’s plenty of time to get the kids in bed and tuck in for a Conan fix before it’s time to head to bed!  Look for the show at 11 PM EST / 10 PM CST.

Will you be tuning in tonight to the premiere of Conan?
