Vanessa Minnillo & Nick Lachey Will Be Great Parents Someday
Vanessa Minnillo is finally engaged to her longtime boyfriend, singer Nick Lachey. Nick announced the engagement via his Twitter account yesterday, and the couple could not be happier with the news.
Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey have already proven that they are a rock solid couple, and after they get married, they will make great parents once they decide to start a family.
Vanessa and Nick have been together since 2006. They’ve taken time to really get to know each other, and admit that they are best friends. They have a good, solid foundation in their relationship, and will be able to tackle the challenges of parenting as a team.
Nick and Vanessa also both have similar interests, with a strong passion for sports. They strike me as the couple who will be playing a game of football with their kids in their backyard on a Saturday afternoon.
Vanessa told Parade earlier this year that she and Nick are great at communication, adding, “We talk daily about things that upset us. It’s about having a sounding board because if you hold in all your thoughts, dreams, anger and anxiety than you’re only hurting yourself.”
Communication is key when it comes to parenting, don’t you think?
Congrats to Nick and Vanessa…and let’s hope that we hear some more “good news” from them very soon!
