Is Demi Lovato’s Father Receiving Death Threats For Speaking Out?
Oh this is getting out of hand! Demi Lovato’s dad spoke out about the pressures on the young starlet after she admitted herself to rehab, and now he’s finding himself on the receiving end of death threats!?
Really people – is what he said THAT surprising to you? Patrick Lovato spoke to RadarOnline.com about how he felt ”There are a lot of pressures,” in the entertainment industry and that “That is one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney. It’s just going to happen.” Well seems that what he said isn’t going over too well with some people!
According to the website, Patrick first found a note nailed to his fence that read;
‘You’re dead’ followed by a phone call telling him that “You’re gonna die for what you did to her.”
What is going on here?! Now I understand that the family is upset with Lovato for speaking out about his daughter especially since he hasn’t had any contact with her in some time, but death threats?!? That’s just a bit ridiculous!
Patrick responded to the threats by telling RadarOnline that “I don’t care, let them come at me. “I’m not responsible for where Demi is right now… I love my daughter,”
Oddly enough he hasn’t reported the threats to the police, but he has reported them to RadarOnline – so you decide if there actually were any real threats to speak of! But if there were this is really getting out of control. This should be about Demi, and now it looks like it’s going to turn into another battle between two exes with one trying to get a little bit of their own exposure. Sounds a bit like Dina and Michael Lohan to me.
