When does Lil Wayne get out of jail?

When does Lil Wayne get out of jail? Lil Wayne’s release date has been set for today, and fans even braved the freezing temperatures outside of Rikers Island, where he had been incarcerated, to welcome him back after eight months!

Weezy, a father of four, is scheduled to be a free man this morning, though not as early as a tweet from Drake had suggested – by 12:30 a.m., he had still not left the building. Young Money Records president Mack Maine is planning a huge bash for Lil Wayne upon his release for this Sunday in Miami.

He had been jailed on a weapons charge but was let out early for good behavior – despite smuggling in a bit of contraband (digital music player charger and headphones) that landed him in solitary.

Are you excited about Weezy’s release?
