During her interview with Robin Roberts, LeAnn Rimes talks candidly about how she cheated on her husband, having an affair with married man Eddie Cibrian.
LeAnn Rimes sets the record straight about her affair with Eddie Cibrian – and seems to have no regrets, noting, “What happened is not who I am, period. But I do know how much I love him. So I’ve always said I don’t live my life with regret. I can’t.”
LeAnn Rimes and Cibrian started their affair when they were shooting the Lifetime movie “Northern Lights.” At the time, Rimes was married to Deane Sheremet and Cibrian was married to Brandi Glanville.
LeAnn Rimes defends her affair in the Robin Roberts interview, saying, “It happens every day to so many people. And if I take away my album sales, my words … you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn’t work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love. I can’t change [critics'] minds. Nothing I’m going to say is going to change it. I do know that and I have accepted that.”
Uh… just because so many people do it, doesn’t make it right, LeAnn!
Eddie Cibrian joins in on the Robin Roberts “All Access Nashville” video,saying, “The truth is that we’re human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we’re human. We fell in love.”
Cibrian adds that it’s been over a year since the tabloids went crazy with the affair “and we’re still together, and we’re madly in love.”

She and her boyfriend are responsible for destroying two marriages, one with children involved, and they are okay with it because “it happens all the time” and “they fell in love.”
I need a barf bag.
