Florida Governor Race 2010: Alex Sink Concedes To Rick Scott After Night With Families
We finally have a winner in the Florida governor race 2010: Democrat Alex Sink has conceded to her Republican rival Rick Scott after the two candidates spent much of the early-morning hours holed up with their families, awaiting the outcome of the vote.
Scott received 49 percent of the vote to Sink’s 48 percent, according to the latest numbers from CNN, and Sink’s concession was unexpected: She said she would wait until all the votes had been counted.
Scott spent a startling $73 million on his campaign, and was rabid in his attacks on Sink, whom he painted as an Obama liberal.
What do you think: Good outcome for Florida or not?
Plus, more election coverage on Nancy Pelosi and California’s Prop 19.

B.divver commented on Nov 03 10 at 11:23 amThis is a sad day for Florida. Scott isn’t from Florida and only moved here to run for office, he ran saying that he wanted to get FL back on track and mostly ran against Obama. Funny, we’ve had Republican Governors for at least the last 12 year – where is this guy planning on taking us?
WTF commented on Nov 03 10 at 11:24 amWhich comes 1st: Scott creates 1 job for Florida or he gets indicted? Smart money is on the latter.
