Did Prop 19 pass in California? Nope.

Did Prop 19 pass In California? Star supporters like Snoop Dogg, Zach Galifiniakis, Doonesbury’s Zonker and a bunch of other celebrities are dealing with some disappointing Prop 19 results today after the bill to legalize pot smoking in California was turned back by a surprisingly wide margin.

Turns out while some big names in Hollywood were in favor of the measure, as well as people 18-24, who supported it by a margin of 62-38 percent, the general public wasn’t. Prop 19′s hopes went up in the proverbial smoke, getting voted down by more than 10 percentage points.

Perhaps the saddest thing is that it means no more of those satirical “Vote for Prop 19″ videos on Funnyordie.com. Here’s one to whet your appetite; be warned that there is some swearing, so it’s not appropriate for kids. (Or anyone who’s never seen “Pineapple Express.”)
