Demi Lovato Bullied: What Other Celebs Were Victims of Bullying?
As a mother, I can’t even imagine what I’d do if my girls were bullied and tortured at school. Maybe pull that scene from The Hand That Rocks the Cradle where the crazy nanny shows up at the playground and almost breaks the arm of the kid bullying her charge. (I kid!) I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it would be to know your child was the victim of bullying. And as evidenced in the case of Demi Lovato, it can happen to anyone. Following are some other celebrities who have openly discussed being bullied:
Jessica Alba: “I was bullied so badly my dad used to have to walk me into school so I didn’t get attacked,” Jessica told the UK’s Daily Mirror.
Megan Fox: “I was bullied and it’s hard, you feel like high school’s never going to be over.”
Tom Cruise: “So many times the big bully came up and pushed me. I’m not the biggest guy.”
Christian Bale: “I took a beating from several boys for years. They put me through hell, punching and kicking me all the time.”
Eva Mendes: “When I finally stood up to my bully, that’s when things changed for me,” Eva has said of her bullying.
Michelle Trachtenberg: “This one girl threw me down a flight of stairs, fractured my ribs, punched and fractured my nose.”
Has your child been bullied, and if so, how did you handle it?

Jessie commented on Nov 03 10 at 10:13 amWow, this actually has me crying right now because I was so badly bullied in school. I am a 31 year old mother of 4. My only son and oldest daughter were also severely bullied. I actually had the language in Florida schools changed regarding racism and bullying. A child was saying my son was so white he could sniff himself (as if he were cocaine) and my daughter was severly broken down by other kids at the bus stop. I went to the principals at their schools and complained. I complained to the bully’s parents and frankly when none of that worked I told the bullies off directly to their faces.
This year my daughter wrote a script for the bullying campaign at her school and she is now what I call the MockingJay.
