Kristen Lee Harrassed at Yankee Stadium: A Form of Adult Bullying?

While the American League Championship Series was being played in Yankee Stadium, the wife of Texas Rangers ace Cliff Lee was being bullied.
Kristen Lee sat in the visiting family section at Yankee Stadium and was allegedly harassed by New York fans.
According to a report by Bob Nightengale of USA Today, fans reportedly taunted her, threw cups of beer and spit from the section above where Lee was sitting.
“The fans did not do good things in my heart,” Kristen said. “When people are staring at you, and saying horrible things, it’s hard not to take it personal.”
Great example of how to treat a woman, by spitting and taunting her. Bullying at its best.
Not exactly the welcoming committee to win over Cliff Lee’s affection.
When Cliff Lee becomes a free agent next month, it’s likely that he’ll take the highest offer on the table, whether that’s from the Yankees, Rangers or some other team.
But after the Yankee Stadium incident, I’m sure she won’t be thrilled if the Yankees land her husband.
I’m sure that New York has left a sour taste in her mouth as a place to settle down for the next five years or so, especially considering they also have two children, Maci and Jaxon.
