Sharron Angle: Joy Behar hates her new ad

Joy Behar went nuts on “The View” again today, this time over an ad that Sharron Angle is running in her Senate race against Nevada incumbent Harry Reid. She said Angle is “a moron on top of being evil” and called her the b word that rhymes with witch (as I call it around my kids). I can’t say I blame Behar – and neither did moms Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. You have to be doing something pretty darn offensive to unite all three of those women against you, since they pretty cover all ends of the political spectrum!

At issue is whether Angle is demonizing Latinos in her anti-immigration ad. After viewing it, I feel she is – she cryptically refers to Latinos as “them” at the end of the ad, as in Reid is siding with “them,” not us. As a parent, I would not want my child exposed to this ad as I think it promotes stereotypes and narrowmindedness.

What do you think – is Behar being unreasonable? Or did Angle cross a line?

They are them and they’re not us. You can pretent that you above the human condition, superior and god like, yet the rest of the world looks at you and see and ugly other, a “them”. Unless you can understand the vast majority of the world human population thinks this way and will take advantage of you foolish un-human like attitude, your grand children will have nothing but enslavement. Or should we trust that Only white Germans can commit genocide against a monority. That’s a risk every minority in every country faces, so way should you wish that dark shadow to cover your family? You’re not gambling with poker chips, you’re gambling with the happiness of you children. Also why should we be trying to create a noah’s ark of a nation? Last time I checked china, mexico and africa were fine and do not need preserved by creating local populations.
