Simon Cowell’s Mother Weighs In On Son’s Engagement
Are Simon Cowell and Mezhgan Hussainy on the outs?
Although Simon Cowell’s spokesperson claims that the ex Idol judge and his fiance Mezhgan Hussainyare still an item, Simon’s mother Julie Cowell seems to think her son has taken a break from his budding relationship. This seems strange, don’t you think? The fact that Mezhgan has flown back to Los Angeles while Simon stays in London to film X Factor is a bit concerning, though. Perhaps this is the break that Mama Cowell was referring to when she stated:
“It’s a break at the moment. The problem with Simon is that he works so hard. She’s gone to America which, in a way, is a good thing because of Simon’s work. At the moment it isn’t a good idea for her to be here.
She doesn’t know many people in London. If you are Simon’s girlfriend, let’s be honest about this, you are not going to see very much of him. It’s very difficult for a girl to accept that. He doesn’t want anyone sitting in his dressing room when hess working. Sometimes these girls want to be there too much.”
Of course she is going to want to be there- Simon is the man she is going to marry! Isn’t her son a little old to still have his mother poking her nose in his business? Julie Cowell continues:
“They are on good terms and I’m sure are in regular contact. Simon remains friends with all his ex-girlfriends. I think [the engagement] was too quick. This might give them the break they need to think it through. Marriage is a very, very big step.
Julie speaking about Simon’s relationship in the past tense makes us wonder. Do you think Simon’s mother is starting rumors, or do you the relationship may actually be over with?
