Who Is April Dawn Warren Guccione? The Heartbroken Wife of Bob Guccione (PHOTOS)
Bob Guccione passed away from cancer on Wednesday night. Guccione was the very successful founder of Penthouse magazine. At the time of his death two of his four children Bob Jr. And Tonina as well as his fourth wife April Dawn Warren Guccione were by his side. And his wife was very distraught about her lose, her mother told CNN that “He was a wonderful man,” she said. “She’s heartbroken. He was the love of her life.”
April had been married to Bob since 2006. And was with him through thick and thin. Back in 2006, the year they got married, their upstate estate was seized and all of the content were sold at a bankruptcy auction. He sold the magazine back in 2004 and had spent his last years painting.

I saw this card..and it read:Do not stand at my grave and weep,I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow., I am the softly falling snow.I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room.I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing.Do not stand by my grave and cry, I am not there. I do not die. …..by Mary Elizabeth FryeLove, Katherin & Bill

I met Bob at his Penthouse club in Mayfair where, after coming in to hear us play in a pub close by, he invited us to play there for him in early 70′s in the ‘International Room’. I now live in the USA and was very sad to hear of his passing. I have written a book which is about to be published and I mentioned singing at his club and meeting him. Though it is a short passage, I remember how kind he was to us and his staff at that time. As I recall when he came in to hear us he had a number of the most beautiful girls we had ever seen making us completely forget our words. Though Iwe never had contact with him after we left it was an encounter that I wanted to mention.
I am so sorry for your loss, but I have good memories of him.
