37354PCN World02 199x300 Pregnant Celine Dion Enters The HospitalA very pregnant Celine Dion has checked into St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida for observation on the advice of her physicians. The reason? To prevent the early delivery of her twins.

But don’t worry about your favorite singer. The statement released by the hospital makes it clear this is a preventive measure, stating this is “done to ensure the patient can be in close contact with their doctors and clinical resources, leading up to their birth.”

There has been some buzz that the crooner had scheduled a C-section and was making diva-like demands at the hospital, but her husband has defended her saying none of that is true.

Saint Mary’s also backed this up in a statement reading: “Céline and René have placed the health of their babies as their highest priority. Recently, rumors have circulated that Ms. Dion has made certain demands of St. Mary’s Medical Center regarding the birth of her children. All of these rumors are false. At no time did Ms. Dion or her husband make any special demands or requests of the hospital. She is not scheduled at any predetermined date for her delivery.”

She has been getting a bit of special treatment though. As can be expected, the hospital has upped its level of security to make sure she is safe.
