Jenny McCarthy Has An Honest Relationship With Jason Toohey
Jenny McCarthy seems happier than ever with her new man, former fitness model Jason Toohey. She has been quietly dating him for a couple months, and they’ve even been living together while her house in Las Vegas undergoes renovations.
It hasn’t been that long since Jenny ended her high profile relationship with actor, Jim Carrey. I have to admit, I thought that those two would be together forever. They seemed rock solid, and Jim was always so great with her son, Evan. But there’s more to a successful relationship than someone being a good father figure to your child.
Jason Toohey seems like a much better fit for Jenny. First of all, she admits that she and Jason are able to be honest with each other. She says, “I have been so open and truthful in this relationship – it is amazing…If he wants Chinese [food] and I don’t, I say it. If he wants to go out and I want to stay in and watch Dancing with the Stars, I tell him so … Sometimes we both want to play poker and we have a blast at home.”
While dating Jim Carrey, Jenny kind of got the label of just being “Jim Carrey’s girlfriend”, and sort of lost who she really was. It must have been tough dating such a famous actor, and I’m sure it was easy to get overshadowed by his fame.
Jenny adds that she went into her relationship with Jason Toohey with “all of her chips laid out.” It sounds like she is able to be much more open with him and is much more comfortable than she was with Carrey.
We wish her all the best and hope that this new relationship is a lasting one!

Nobody starts out knowing how to do it, but it looks like she’s making great progress. I wish her nothing but happiness, and hope her new guy is “the one” if that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Sounds like they’re off to a good start, which is sure to piss some people off… so bring on the haters, the ones that say they could care less, but have to spew their hate anyway. It’s fascinating.
