Has Taylor Momsen Gone Too Far This Time?

mr 2bc4ea410d8eef 225x300 Has Taylor Momsen Gone Too Far This Time?Oh my! If you thought Miley Cyrus’s new video was a bit too racy for a girl her age, wait until you check out Taylor Momsen on the cover of Revolver magazine’s “Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock” issue!

We’ve already seen Momsen, who is 17,  try really hard to convince us what a grownup she is by talking about sex toys and dressing in her underwear, but in the issue of Revolver she also goes on to talk about her thoughts on sex tapes. Seriously.

“If it’s a good sex tape, I’ll watch it … I like some adult stars. I have a couple favorites. But I will say this: That Tommy Lee-Pamela Anderson video wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t f**k Tommy Lee,”

Now I understand that Momsen is only 17 and most of us at that age thought we knew everything and tried to do and say things that would cause a reaction from others, but isn’t this going a bit too far?

PopEater.com also says that not only is the cover a bit risqué, but the entire interview is questionable too, with the singer talking about sex, masturbation and reality stars! I really have a hard time believing that anyone would allow their 17 year old daughter to be objectified like this, but we’ve seen it over and over again with this girl.

Personally, as the mother to a daughter, I find this really quite disturbing. I don’t care how mature my daughter is, I will never allow her to be objectified like this. What do you think of this cover, does the magazine have a social responsibility not to engage a 17 year old in a conversation so explicit, or is it fair game?
