Jessalyn Gilsig files for divorce

Actress Jessalyn Gilsig, whose character Terri on Glee splits with her husband Will Schuester, has filed for divorce from her husband in real life, film producer Bobby Salomon.

Jessalyn, 39, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court last month, citing the usual “irreconcilable differences”.

The couple have a young daughter together, Penelope, who is three.

Her character is the wife of glee club director Will Schuester.  Her storylines have seen her experience a false pregnancy, attempt to adopt the baby of pregnant glee club member and become involved in a love triangle between herself, Will and school guidance counsellor.

According to the divorce docs, “the issues of child custody, visitation, and support will be addressed in the parties’ marital settlement agreement”.

In the divorce papers, the Canadian-born Jessalyn states the couple were married on January 1, 2005 and have been separated since October 14, 2009.
